The Half-Life Mechanic
When a Ghost (non-member) returns after their session ends, half of everything they collected is gone. This includes:
- Candles
- Friend words
- Golden keys
- Map discoveries
- Inventory items
This creates urgency without walls — you can always continue, just… diminished.
Crow Feathers 🪶
The only thing that persists for Ghost World players across sessions. Crow Feathers are permanent proof of speedrun achievements.

How to Earn
Set a leaderboard record in any category:

Time Brackets
Records are categorized by session length (under 15 min, 15-30 min, 30-1hr, 1-2hr, 2-3hr, 3-4hr, 4-6hr, 6-8hr, 8-10hr, 10-12hr).
Why Members Would Go Ghost
Even members might want to enter Ghost World:
- Crow Feathers — Can’t earn these in normal Member mode
- Speedrun Records — Different skills than service work
- Practice Mirrors — Try new routes before real stakes
- Fun — Sometimes you just want to race

Session Save Option
Don’t want to lose your loot? You can bank your progress mid-session:

This lets you take breaks while keeping everything you’ve earned — but only until you return and complete the session.
Member Equipment Prep
Members can bring their owned equipment into Ghost World:
- The Tavern — General prep area
- Guild Crew Room — Guild-specific prep
- Tribe Crew Room — Tribe-specific prep
Equipment from your Portfolio’s Game Assets → Armory can be carried into Ghost World without being consumed.
Treasure Maps & Join the Fray
Members can create their own beacon routes:
- Walk out the path, placing beacons
- Record as a Treasure Map
- Other players run it (with ante)
- Leagues organized via “Join the Fray” on Discord
Map creators earn from usage. Players compete for records. Everyone has fun.
